The Bon Collective - Liberty Blume, Leeds

Project Description:

Designed by The Bon Collective, Liberty Blume in Leeds presents a refined, contemporary workplace environment defined by a strong visual identity and a carefully curated material palette. The project balances bold design decisions with a clean, structured layout, resulting in a space that feels both dynamic and composed.

Rich blue tones play a central role throughout the interior, creating depth and contrast against lighter surfaces and architectural elements. Expansive views across the city further enhance the experience, bringing natural light into the space and establishing a strong connection between the interior and its urban setting. The result is a workplace that feels modern, confident, and thoughtfully resolved.

The Shoot:

This was a one-day shoot in Leeds, a welcome opportunity to step outside of London and work on location with one of my favourite design teams. Staying local allowed for a focused, well-paced shoot, with everything centred on achieving a clean, cohesive final result. Approaching a workplace project like this requires attention to both the overall layout and the finer visual details.

Working from a detailed shot list, we approached each space with precision, refining angles, staging, and composition to ensure every image felt balanced and intentional. The collaboration with The Bon Collective was, as always, seamless, with a shared understanding of how to bring out the best in the design.

Lighting was carefully controlled throughout the shoot. I used flash to shape the scenes and enhance depth, later blending it with natural light in post-production to achieve a natural yet refined look. This approach allowed the rich blue tones and contrasting materials to come through clearly while maintaining a soft, cohesive atmosphere. Post-production focused on maintaining that balance, ensuring colour consistency, clean lines, and a polished finish, presenting the project through the lens of a London interior photographer working across workplace environments.
