Covet Noir - Belgravia Residence
Project Description:
This Belgravia townhouse was reimagined as a warm, Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary with a touch of California cool. The original dark timber and heavy detailing were replaced with cleaner, modern architectural features, including rounded corners and wide plank oak floors to introduce warmth and soften the spaces. Frameless doorways and seamless transitions between rooms enhance the sense of openness and flow, while soft Bauwerk walls accentuate the newly created curves, giving the home a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
The Shoot:
Working with Covet Noir for the first time on this project was a fantastic experience. We collaborated closely to find the best angles to showcase their stunning work. The shoot was primarily done using natural light, with minimal supplemental lighting to enhance the guest bathrooms without relying on practical lights, which can diminish the depth and materiality. Shot over one full day across multiple floors, the natural lighting was ideal, allowing us to capture the atmosphere beautifully. In post-production, I ensured consistency in colours and lighting, creating a mood that complemented the interior design and materials.
