E-Pulsive Health Club

Project Description:

E-Pulsive is a luxury wellness space that blends modern design with high-tech wellness solutions. A soft, neutral palette, sculptural furniture, and warm lighting create a calm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows with lake views and sheer curtains fill the open-plan space with natural light, while marble, wood panelling, and gold accents add warmth and elegance. Thoughtfully designed lighting softens the architecture, making E-Pulsive a place where wellness and design unite effortlessly.

The Shoot:

Shooting E-Pulsive in Zurich was a fantastic experience, not only because of the beautifully designed space but also because of the trust my client, a friend, placed in me to simply focus on capturing the space as it is. The shoot was relaxed yet focused, taking place over a full day just after the club’s opening. Spaces like this, sitting between wellness and hospitality environments, require a balance between atmosphere and clarity.

The weather was mostly overcast, and there were some distractions outside the windows, such as construction, which I later removed in post to maintain a clean and uninterrupted view. I used a blend of natural and flash lighting to enhance the space, subtly recreating sunlight in the main seating area to introduce warmth and depth. The gym area was the exception, where we captured a bright sunset, while the bathrooms and treatment rooms were carefully lit to maintain a polished, high-end feel.

Since the images were intended to attract a more discerning clientele, each composition was approached with that in mind, focusing on clarity, balance, and a refined visual language. It’s always rewarding to photograph spaces like this, where design, atmosphere, and function come together, and the final result reflects my work as a London interior photographer across wellness and hospitality projects.
