Bergman Design House - Mallorca Finca

Project Description:

Set within the tranquil landscape of Mallorca, this refined finca by Bergman Design House embodies a quiet, understated luxury rooted in craftsmanship and materiality. The design draws on the island’s natural palette, layering warm earth tones, textured finishes, and carefully curated furnishings to create a space that feels both grounded and elevated.

A seamless dialogue between interior and exterior defines the project, with expansive views of the surrounding countryside and distant sea integral to the experience. Each room is thoughtfully composed, balancing artisanal details, bespoke elements, and collected pieces that bring depth and character to the home. The result is a timeless retreat, both sophisticated and deeply connected to its setting.

The Shoot:

This was a beautifully collaborative two-day shoot with Bergman Design House, one of those projects where everything aligns naturally, from the design itself to the energy of the team. Alongside the photography, we captured video content, producing a series of Instagram Reels to further showcase the space. Projects like this, where interior design is closely tied to architectural form and landscape, benefit from a flexible, responsive approach on-site.

Given the richness of textures and layered details throughout the finca, I used supplemental lighting to shape each scene and bring out depth across materials, surfaces, and artwork. Balancing natural light with controlled lighting was key, particularly with the expansive views stretching across the Mallorcan landscape and out towards the sea. Each space offered a different perspective, making the process both creatively engaging and visually varied.

Post-production played an important role in bringing consistency across the full set. Colour grading was approached carefully to enhance warmth while maintaining natural tones and material accuracy. The final images present the project with clarity and atmosphere, reflecting my work across interior design photography for residential spaces in London and internationally.
