Gensler - Adobe Workplace

Project Description:

Adobe’s Shoreditch office, redesigned in collaboration with Gensler, brings together modern workplace functionality with the creative energy of its East London surroundings. Inspired by a nebula concept, the design introduces a rich, dark palette layered with neon accents, creating a bold and immersive environment.

The space integrates biophilic elements, recycled materials, and locally influenced details, including references to Shoreditch’s coffee culture. A mix of intimate meeting areas, a technology-driven pitch room, quiet focus zones, and a relaxed café lounge supports a variety of working styles, encouraging both collaboration and individual concentration.

The Shoot:

This project offered a refreshing shift in atmosphere, with a strong emphasis on colour, contrast, and mood. The darker palette required a more controlled lighting approach to ensure the space retained depth and clarity without losing its intended ambience.

Working within contemporary office environments in London, the focus was on capturing how the space functions and how it feels, from active, collaborative areas to quieter, more introspective zones. Over the course of a full day, we produced a set of images that reflected the energy and identity of the workspace.

Styling played an important role, including the introduction of people to bring a sense of scale and activity. Balancing natural and supplemental lighting was key, particularly given the overcast November conditions, ensuring the interiors felt vibrant without becoming flat or overly contrasted.

Post-production involved layering multiple exposures, refining colour balance, and subtly enhancing the tonal range to bring out the richness of the materials and finishes. The final set captures the atmosphere and intent of the design while sitting comfortably within a wider portfolio of interior photography in London.
